News from the Congress
The 3WCAFCC Organising Committee would like to share the latest developments and key dates for our June 2026 meeting in Donostia/San Sebastián.
1. Programme and communications
We are currently designing the conference programme based on the experience of the two previous conferences and the proposals we are receiving. If you wish to submit an abstract, please remember that the deadline for submission is 9 March 2026 at 23:59 (Central European Time - CET).
Once the deadline has passed, the Committee will review all texts within a period of approximately 15 days. Between 16 and 24 March, we will send out official notifications to confirm which papers have been accepted and in which category.
2. Registration and capacity
Due to the high level of interest, in-person capacity is limited. If you have already registered through our website, you will receive an email shortly. In this message, we will confirm whether you have been assigned an in-person spot or if you are on the waiting list.
3. Digital tools
To enhance the experience of attendees, we are implementing two important improvements:
- New website: We are updating the official website to make it more intuitive and easier to navigate.
- New app: We will launch a mobile application where you can check the programme, presentations and the status of your communications in real time.
4. Activities and socialising
We want this conference to be a space for exchange and reunion. The programme includes a social cocktail party and a catalogue of free tourist excursions to explore the city's surroundings. Please note that places for the excursions are limited and require prior registration.
5. Live streaming
To facilitate access for those who are unable to travel, we will stream the plenary sessions. If you are pre-registered, you will receive the access links a few days before the event begins.
Summary of key dates (2025-2026)
· Until 9 March: Deadline for submitting papers (ends at 23:59 CET).
· 9 to 24 March: Evaluation of abstracts by the Committee.
· 16 to 24 March: Sending of acceptance confirmations.
· June 2026: Congress held in Donostia/San Sebastián
