Asmaa S Z Alkhodari

Asma is an experienced healthcare and quality management professional with extensive expertise in public health administration, quality improvement, and academic instruction. She currently serves as Manager of the Health Services Office at the Sharjah Social Services Department and Manager of the Sharjah Age-Friendly City Program at the emirate level under the Sharjah Government. In addition, she played a key role as General Coordinator and Secretary of the Sharjah Healthy City Project in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Previously, Asma held senior leadership positions at Al Qassimi Hospital under the Ministry of Health, where she served as Head of Continuous Professional Development and Head of Quality and Accreditation. Through these roles, she led major initiatives in institutional excellence, staff development, and international accreditation standards.

Alongside her professional practice, Asma contributes to academic development as a Part-Time Lecturer at the College of Health Sciences, University of Sharjah, supporting the preparation of future healthcare professionals.

Asma holds a Master’s degree in Total Quality Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences (Nursing), and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is also certified as an EFQM International Assessor, reflecting her strong commitment to excellence, organizational performance, and continuous improvement in healthcare and social services
