Aparna Shankar

Aparna Shankar is Professor of Psychology at FLAME University, Pune, India. Her research addresses loneliness, social isolation, ageing and health using quantitative social-epidemiological approaches. Aparna was co-chair of the Technical Advisory Group on Social Connection to the WHO and is a member of the Guideline Development Group for interventions to reduce social isolation and loneliness.
